Who We Are
Atonement is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and is also a Reconciled in Christ (RIC) congregation. This means that we are an inclusive congregation that welcomes and encourages all people, regardless of race, language, previous denominational affiliation, gender identity, or sexual orientation to worship with us so that we may enjoy all the spiritual gifts that God gives to all God’s people.
At Atonement, we embrace the Richard Feynman quote that has been so popular on social media:
“I would rather have questions that can’t be answered than, answers that can’t be questioned.”
Questions are welcome here, even the questions we can’t answer, even if you’re questioning your faith (don’t we all sometime?). What ever your questions, we would love to walk with you so we can learn from each other.
Meet Our Leadership Team
Pastor Bill Wong (Interim Pastor)
Pastor Bill brings a wealth of experience in intentional interim ministry, helping congregations grow through seasons of transition. With an open-door policy, he welcomes genuine conversations about God, community, and life over a good cup of coffee or a visit to our sanctuary office.
Youlee Duray (Pianist & Organist)
An accomplished pianist, organist, and music educator, Youlee specializes in childhood music education and collaborative performance. She passionately leads our worship atmosphere through keyboard instrumentation and choral accompaniment.
Roy Domoe (Choir Director)
Roy holds a Master of Music in voice and believes that music brings a crucial, joyful bond to worship and community. When he isn't directing our choir or teaching local students, he loves exploring Northern California adventures with his family.
